Types of specials/promotions that can be sent from ResOnline to Booking.com :

• Basic Percentage Discount Specials  - This is an easy and fully customisable promotion, which will give the guest a discount on selected rooms and rates. The general purpose of the basic deal is a simple way to quickly lower the price. Basic deal is not tagged for guests on Booking.com front-end (website and app). To activate the Basic Deal Special, Last minute/advanced purchase restrictions should be set to "No"

• Last minute Deals - For a Last minute promotion that gives guests a discount if they book 7 days or less before their intended check-in date. Sell leftover rooms, max out your occupancy, increase your visibility on mobile devices, and attract last-minute bookers. Last minute deals are tagged for guests on the Booking.com front-end. To create this, search for the "Must be booked" line on the ResOnline Specials setting and set the drop down to "within" and input X days before arrival. It is recommended to keep the maximum booking window for Last Minute deals less than 7 days.

• Early Booker Specials - Target customers who are looking to book in advance and secure your occupancy. Early booker deals are not tagged for guests on the Booking.com front-end. To create this, search for the "Must be booked" line on the ResOnline Specials setting and set the drop down to "at least" and input X days before arrival. Recommended to keep the minimum booking window greater than 30 days.

• Business Booker Deals (beta)  - 1 in 5 bookings are business related. The discount will only be displayed to verified, logged-in business travelers, and will apply to all your room types, rates and dates except excluded. The lower price and special tag on search results might help increase your visibility and ultimately earn more bookings. This option is only available for Basic Percentage Discount Specials.

• Geo Rate Deals (beta) - A Public Geo Rate is a special, discounted rate that is only offered to customers from a specific region. Public Geo Rates are available for all customers from a certain markets, and will apply to all your room types, rates and dates except excluded. The lower price and special tag on search results might help increase your visibility and ultimately earn more bookings.  This option is only available for Basic Percentage Discount Specials.
